MACHİNARİUM
 
 

Machinarium tells the story of a robot expelled a huge city Robotics by a group of thugs, the goal being to find a way to return to the latter in order to thwart an attack. The little robot is also looking for his kidnapped girlfriend and must thwart the evil plan of the robbers.

Machinarium aims to solve a series of puzzles and puzzles in point & click. The player must find objects and sometimes combine them between themselves in order to solve the riddle. Once the objects are no longer useful, the character removed or lose them.

The game contains no dialogue spoken or written, it uses a system of bubbles animated in order to understand the plot to the player.

The main character, named Josef in reference to Josef Čapek, inventor of the word robot is a small robot. It is however possible to enlarge it or make it smaller in order to solve some puzzles, when that player points to a usable object, the pointer shape changes, which has the effect to facilitate the game.

The character has no life points, the player can save or load the part at any time in the game.Jakub Dvorský, founder ofAmanita Design and designer of Machinarium.

The development of Machinarium is extended over a period of three years, developed by seven developers Czechs who funded the game by their own means.
